The survey reveals a strong consensus among US respondents regarding the potential impact of Canada’s associate EU membership. A significant 59.7% believe it will strengthen Western alliances.
Following this, 23.0% expressed concern that it could create new global tensions. A smaller segment, 9.0%, felt it won’t have much impact, while 8.3% indicated they don’t follow this issue.

Age-wise, respondents aged 25-34 and 45-54 showed higher agreement with strengthening alliances, at 63.8% and 62.0% respectively, compared to the 35-44 age group, where 53.2% held this view.
